No extra work or manual feeding required
The round shape of the feeder pan supports the pigs’ social nature. Young piglets can pull up a seat at the dinner table, without actually getting into the pan. Blu’Hox W2F is the first feeding system for Wean-to-Finish houses that doesn’t require any manual feeding or extra work from the outset.
Water nipples are integrated into the pan, catering to the pigs’ urge to alternate eating with drinking water. Water encourages eating, improves digestion, and promotes consistent growth.
No feed or water spillages
Water spills from the nipple are collected in the pan. The pigs mix the water and the feed to create a moist paste. The wet composition increases daily feed intake by 30 %.
Blu’Hox W2F has 20 different feed settings, so you can control the feed volume precisely.
- ADJUSTABLE WATER PRESSURE AND NIPPLE HEIGHT
You can adjust the water pressure in line with the amount of water required and age of the pigs. Blu’Hox W2F has four nipples. As the pigs grow, the nipples can be adjusted in sets of two.
Optimal hygiene
The round shape of the trough means the feed doesn’t collect in corners. The stainless steel material of the pan makes it quick to clean. The cover on the Blu’Hox prevents any dust entering the feed tray. The flap protects the feed against the smell of ammonia.
